NEW BRITAIN — The man who died after he was shot last week on Albany Avenue has been identified as a resident of New Britain.
The man, Christopher Parks, 28, of New Britain was confirmed by the Office of the State’s Chief Medical Examiner and Detectives of the Hartford Police Department’s Major Crimes Division.
On Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at approximately 1:17 am, Hartford Police Officers responded to the area of 453 Albany Ave. on a report of a party shot, police said.
Upon arrival, officers located a male party, Parks, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. From there, Parks was transported to Saint Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased approximately 12 hours later, police said.
