Enfield Police Arrest Hartford Cop in Domestic Dispute

HARTFORD — A local police officer was arrested yesterday in an off-duty incident in in Enfield.

Officer Christopher White, 34, was arrested Saturday after someone called police at about 3 a.m. to 33 Bernardino Ave., in Enfield for a domestic dispute, police said.

Reportedly, that address is White’s former home. He is scheduled for arraignment in Enfield Superior Court on Monday.

Police charged White with two counts of assault, two counts of breach of peace, two counts of reckless endangerment, two counts of threatening and illegal possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.

White was booked and released from police custody several hours later on a $75,000 bond.

White was also arrested by state police in October 2004 for a road rage incident on I-91. He was reportedly placed on administrative duties at police headquarters after the case was dismissed.

Five Arrested For Prescription Drugs Sales

HARTFORD — Quality of life is at the top of the priority list for city residents who have to bear insufferable noise at bedtime.

On Thursday, the Hartford Police Department responded to complaints by residents and conducted  a raid on several individuals conducting illegal drug activity in the area of the McDonalds located at 172 Washington St., police said. 

 The operation was in response to numerous citizen complaints about illegal hand to hand sales of prescription drugs occurring in that area.  As a result of the operation detectives seized quantities of seroquel, percocet and heroin arrested the following five persons:. From top to bottom are

Christopher Jackson (02/17/82) of 75 Main St, Hartford  was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Interfering with Police.

  • Jose Garcia (04/15/82) of 698 Broad St., Hartford was charged with Sale of Narcotics.
  • Henry Hall (09/09/80) of no certain address in Hartford was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Interfering with Police.
  • Marlin Tyson (06/10/64) of 64 Regent St, Mancheste  was charged with Criminal Attempt to Sell Narcotics and Larceny 6ht Degree.
  • Eric Lucas (not pictured) (10/25/71) of 220 Newfield St, Middletown was charged with Possession of Narcotics.
