HARTFORD — Hartford Police Officers will be playing Santa this Christmas.

The Hartford Guardians and the Hartford Police Department’s Hispanic Officers Association has launched a toy drive and will be collecting toys on Dec. 8 and 9  at Walmart.

Donations will be collected at the Walmart at 495 Flatbush  Ave. this Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The police department will accept unwrapped toys and financial contributions.
