HARTFORD — The Center for Latino Progress and the Latino and Puerto Rican Affairs Commission will hold a forum on civil rights at the Capitol on Oct. 10.
The event will be from 1 p.m. to 5: 30 p.m. in Hearing Room 2c at the Legislative Office Building at 300 Capitol Ave., Hartford.
As a part of Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, the event will focus on housing and lending discrimination, human trafficking, and language access issues. In addition, members from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other law agencies will be present to discuss civil rights concerns.
